About the practice

One therapist, one Peninsula, no waiting list you don't know about.

Peninsula Pathways Occupational Therapy is a sole-practitioner practice. When you call, you speak to the person who will do the work.

Who we are

A small practice, deliberately.

Most occupational therapy practices on the Peninsula are either large multi-site organisations or mobile teams dispatched from Melbourne. We are neither. Peninsula Pathways is Louise, working across the Mornington Peninsula, seeing a limited number of people at a time.

That has trade-offs and we would rather be upfront about them. We can't take everyone. When we are full, we say so rather than adding people to a list. What you get in return is continuity: the person who does your assessment writes your report, and is still your therapist six months later.

It also means there is no handover between assessor and treating therapist, no case being re-explained, and no report written by someone who has never been in your home.

Meet your therapist

Hello, I'm Louise.

Louise

Occupational Therapist · AHPRA OCC0001934263

Louise is an occupational therapist based on the Mornington Peninsula. She works across the NDIS and aged care systems — functional capacity assessments, home modifications, assistive technology, daily living skills, mental health and sensory support.

Louise works with young people and adults, across a wide range of disabilities and conditions.

Her approach is practical and unhurried. Assessments happen in the person's own home wherever possible, because capacity looks different in a clinic than it does in the kitchen where someone actually makes their breakfast.

Louise is Peninsula-born and based. Home visits are not a service line here — they are how the practice works.

Who I support

The people I work with.

Louise works with young people and adults on the Mornington Peninsula, including participants living with:

… and more. Every person and every plan is different.

Our commitment to you

The promises we make to every person we work with.

You'll be heard

Your voice, your goals and your priorities lead every session. We listen first, plan second, and check in often.

Respect for who you are

We honour your culture, identity, language and the people who matter to you. Our practice is inclusive of all participants and families.

Clear, honest communication

No jargon, no surprises. We explain assessments, plans and fees in plain English, and check you understand before we move forward.

Evidence-based practice

Everything we do is grounded in current research and reflective clinical reasoning, not fads or guesswork.

On time and dependable

We turn up when we say we will, send reports when we say we will, and respond to messages within two business days.

Confidential and safe

Your information is treated with care and stored securely. We only share it with your consent or where legally required.

Where we work

Peninsula-based, not Melbourne-dispatched.

Travel is the hidden constraint in Peninsula occupational therapy. Getting from the top of the Peninsula to Portsea is over an hour each way in summer traffic, and a provider based in Melbourne is spending your funding on the drive.

Living here changes how scheduling works. Visits in the same area get grouped into the same day. Southern Peninsula appointments are booked in blocks rather than one at a time. If you are a long way from us, we will tell you what that means for how often we can visit rather than promising a frequency we can't keep.

Questions

Common questions

Which NDIS plan types do you work with?

Self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are not able to take NDIA-managed plans. If you are unsure which yours is, your plan document says so, or your support coordinator will know.

What ages does Louise work with?

Give us a call and we'll tell you straight away whether the person you have in mind is someone we can help. It takes a minute and saves you a wasted referral.

Do you visit residential aged care facilities?

Ask us. Residential aged care sits outside the usual home-visit arrangement, so it depends on the facility and what is being asked for — a phone call sorts it out faster than a form.

How far north do you travel?

Frankston is the northern edge of the service area. We do not travel beyond it.
